Wordle.net word art
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You can create art out of your words using the following free website:
http://www.wordle.net. Here are two images I created of poems I've
written:
You can read the actual poems at the AllBooksFree.com website:
http://www.allbooksfree.com/waterfall.htm and
GoBrevity business book reviews
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Each week Rick Raddatz of GoBrevity.com analyzes a different business
book from the point of view of the small business owner. Members of
http://www.gobrevity.com get his complete 2000-word analysis, video,
and member discussion. Since people have to pay to be members of the
website, they are going to pay serious attention to the business books
Rick features.
Send appropriate review copies to Rick Raddatz, editor, GoBrevity.com,
Xiosoft Inc., 2655 W Midway Boulevard #210, Broomfield CO 80020.
Be sure that your book will help small business owners with BUSINESS
problems: marketing, accounting, promotion, hiring, firing, branding, etc.
Do not send Rick health, self-help, positive thinking, or such books. He
wants to feature practical books for the small business owner.
TwitPwr tweeting tool
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While creating my special Twitter Tools page (http://www.bookmarket.
com/twitter.htm), I discovered how powerful Twitter can be in helping
anyone to create better relationships online. So now the social website
I'm most involved in is Twitter.com. You can follow me at http://www.
twitter.com/johnkremer.
Here is another great Twitter tool that I learned about from Joel Comm
while attending the JVAlert Live conference last weekend:
TwitPwr: http://www.twitpwr.com — Shortens URLs for use in Twitter,
but it also does so much more.
You can create custom short URLs to help you brand. Check out, for
example, http://twitpwr.com/bookmarket46. Bookmarket is my brand.
Allows you to track how many clicks are generated from posting a link
in your tweet.
You can create backlinks for the links you create.
Ranks the top users of the service. The Power Rankings are based on
the unique traffic you generate, how many Twitter users you refer to
their service, and how much traffic they generate.
The service automatically creates a personal user page for you that
features your tweets and your TwitPwr links (with lots of details on the websites you link to). Check out my personal page at:
http://twitpwr.com/profile/johnkremer.
Users can find the most popular URLs on TwitPwr.
You can follow the TwitPwr Power Rankings to find some of the most
active people on Twitter. Those are useful people to follow and create
a relationship with.
You can learn how to use this website tool more effectively by watching
this video: http://twitpwr.com/video/index.php.
great video on the National Publicity Summit
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

the National Publicity Summit. It will be held this year in New York City
on April 22 to 25th. You can check the video out here:

email headlines
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Below in bold is an email I just received from someone I know.
Why would you ever use an email headline like this? . . .
If you're reading this, you're already 30 minutes late!
I deleted that email right away. Why read something if I'm late for it?
That means it's not actionable. If I can't take action on it, why read it?
Now I know that the message probably included something inside where
I could go and still get involved. But I'm not going to support someone
who insults my intelligence in their headline. I don't have time to waste
time. Do you?
