Our fulfillment pick and pack fee is $1.50 per order plus $.40 per individual book or unopened case of books and we discount the UPS or DHL delivery costs by 10% plus provide USPS first class, priority mail and media mail delivery. Depending on weight and distance, the UPS or DHL discount can cover the entire fulfillment fee itself.

“The publisher can hand enter individual orders into our online fulfillment control panel or up load orders as CSV or XML data files. We send a ship confirmation email automatically and all tracking numbers, inventory counts, ship history and cost details are available online live. A Single user ACUMEN System currently costs $11,950.00, and goes up from there. They also serve many university presses such as MIT Journals, Harvard University Press, Temple University Press, and Duke University Press. Depending on the total number of users, system requirements and configuration, license fees range from $1,000.00 - $6,500.00 per user. The typical user base for the UNISON system ranges from 50 to 200 users, with the capability of supporting over 300 users.

Founded in 1977, one of the strengths of this system is that it operates under multiple operating systems, from UNIX to Windows NT to the Internet. CIS introduced their eCommerce module at Book Expo America. CIS.PUB Open software begins to be cost effective for 10 user publishers and above with an entry level of approximately $125,000.00.
