TweetBrand: Free service to brand your tweets with your website
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you use Twitter, your tweets are generally branded with the service
you use (Twitterrific, TwitterFeed, Ping.fm, TweetDeck, etc.). If you'd
rather that your tweets be branded with your own website name and
URL link, use the free TweetBrand service, as noted in the following
tweet I created on Saturday:
TweetBrand allows you to brand your tweets (with your website link):
http://marketmetweet.com/tweetbrand. Free service. Neat.
5 minutes ago from www.bookmarket.com
Note how the above tweet is branded with: 5 minutes ago from www.bookmarket.com.
Normally, that would say 5 minutes ago from TweetDeck or 5 minutes ago from
SocialOomph. Isn't it better to say: from www.bookmarket.com? That's
my brand and my link.
The above tip was provided to this newsletter by Michael Volkin, author
of Social Networking for Authors and webmaster at SellaTonofBooks.com.
John Kremer's People You Should Know teleseminar series
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm hosting a weekly teleseminar where I interview someone I think you
should know - 1. Because you will learn some useful tips from them and
2. because they offer a service or product I think might help you market
your books more effectively. The primary purpose of the teleseminars
will be to teach you practical and effective book marketing tips.
Just a note of appreciation for your teleseminar series. What I've
found
so valuable about the teleseminars is that they not only teach
how to
market books generally, but they also allow me to ask a
current expert
on the telephone questions about how to market MY
book. That is so
unique and valuable. - Jim Wawro,
author, Ask Your Inner Voice
This series of teleseminars will take place every Wednesday at 8:00 p.m.
Eastern, 5:00 p.m. Pacific, for the next 12 months. If you can make the
live teleseminars, you'll be able to ask questions. But every teleseminar
will be available for you to listen to again online any time during the next
two years.

December 23rd - Bill Quain, bestselling author of Overcoming Time
Poverty; 10 Rules to Break, 10 Rules to Make; and Pro-Sumer Power.
Topic: A Bestselling Author's Secret System for Marketing and Selling Your Book
Listen in live on Wednesday, Dec. 23rd at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.

NanaBlogs for savvy seniors
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
NanaBlogs (http://www.thenanablogs.com) is a new online community
for grandmothers who want to network with other grandmothers or who
want a clean, easy blogging platform. Nielsen stats indicate that more
and more people over 65 are becoming active on the web. In the U.S.
alone, 17.5 million seniors are active on the Internet.
If your market includes grandmothers, you should check out this new
website. Look for grandmothers who are active in the network or active
blogging - and offer those grandmothers some great content (a review
copy of your book, an excerpt from your book, an interview with you, a
regular column by you, etc.).
Also, visit the NanaHood.com blog of Teresa Bell Kindred, the founder
of NanaBlogs.
