Test your book titles
How did Tim Ferriss come up with the title for his bestselling book, The 4-Hour Body? Simple. He asked. And then he tested. He ended up surveying about 4,000 people in three separate rounds to come up with that title.
For his bestseller, The 4-Hour Workweek, he test 12 titles using Google Adwords. He tested various keywords related to the book (such as "world travel" and "401K"). The ads displayed the title of the book as the headline and the subtitle as the ad text. Then he checked the clickthroughs to see with title drew the most interest.
How do you test the titles of your books?

Instant Teleseminar 2.0
The service I use to create my teleseminars is Instant Teleseminar. I love using it. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Great archiving of every teleseminar. I use the service not only for teleseminars, but also for recording consultations and other phone conversations that I want to keep.
My friend, Rick Raddatz, is now launching a new version of the service. He calls it Instant Teleseminar 2.0. You can find out more about the re-launch at http://InstantTeleseminar.com/?x=1246750
Here are a few more reasons why you should incorporate Instant Teleseminar into your marketing program and website design:
Most web visitors stay for anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes on a new site. You can keep them on your website longer if you give them something to listen to. A 5- to 20-minute audio will keep them on your site longer.
If you host a teleseminar, your visitors will stay with you for the full half hour, hour, or more to participate in your event. Again, they'll only spend a few minutes with you on your website.
Audio is a great way to sell. People can hear your voice, not just read your words. It's a double whammy of goodness.
Audio is a great way to greet people who come to your website. Instant Teleseminar makes it easy for you to record anything (even if you don't invite anyone else to listen in). Just phone the number they give you at the specified time, click record, and talk.
Instant Teleseminar makes it easy to record interviews with other people, whether you are using those interviews to research a book, to offer the interviews for free listening by your website visitors, or to create a new product (like my People You Should Know teleseminar series).
You can get a free 21-day trial to Instant Teleseminar 2.0 by going here: http://InstantTeleseminar.com/21-day-trial.asp?x=1246750
Note: The new 2.0 version of Instant Teleseminar comes with a training system to get you up and running with profit-building teleseminars.
